Why a Robin?

They say that a Robin appears when a loved one is near… This was only discovered by Glenn’s daughter, Holly, after she had made a pact with her Dad on visiting him at the peaceful church yard where he rests.  She chatted away to him, telling him how much she missed him and all the things that were happening. In life, Holly had a close bond with her Dad, and being the only daughter, had him some what wrapped around her finger!! Anything Holly asked, her Dad did! Holly said to her Dad that morning at the Churchyard that she needed a sign from him, and if he could not think of a sign then it should be a bird, and if he could not think of a bird then it should be a Robin! Thinking no more of it, on Holly’s next visit to the Church sure enough there was a Robin sat on a near by headstone.  Ever since then Robins have appeared all around. With this special little bird so comforting to the family it was decided to make that the symbol for the day…
